Much Ado About Nothing.  - Create. Rehearse. Perform.

This summer, we're offering a unique theatre experience that gives young performers the chance to be part of a real production from start to finish. Over the course of the workshops, participants will work through an authentic rehearsal process, developing their acting, teamwork, and performance skills before presenting two performances for family and friends.

Unlike stand-alone drama sessions, this workshop is designed as a complete production experience. Every rehearsal builds towards the final performances, giving participants a genuine insight into how a show comes together.

Workshop Information:

  • Rehearsal Times: 10:00am – 3:30pm

  • Cost: £27.50 per rehearsal day

  • Performance Days: No charge

  • Lunch: Please bring a packed lunch and drinks each day.

Why Is There No Charge for Performance Days?

We want all participants to have the opportunity to showcase their hard work and celebrate their achievements without additional workshop fees. The rehearsal fees help cover the costs of running the project, including venue hire, production resources, staffing, and technical elements required to stage the performances.

Commitment and Attendance

Because this workshop follows a structured rehearsal process leading to a live production, regular attendance is essential. Participants wishing to take part in the performances should be able to commit to attending most rehearsal days, as each session builds on previous work and contributes to the success of the final show.

We understand that summer holidays can involve family commitments, so occasional absences may be unavoidable. However, those hoping to perform should be available for the majority of rehearsals and all performance dates wherever possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to experience the excitement, challenge, and achievement of creating a production together and performing it for an audience.

Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.
